First Act “Die Walküre” in Beijing
On April 2, 2025, Gabriela Scherer will make her debut in China and at the NCPA Beijing, singing Sieglinde in the 1st Act of Wagner’s Die Walküre. Gabriela will perform with the Wiener Symphoniker led by Petr Popelka and with Ric Furman as Siegmund and Liang Li as Hunding. In the first part of the concert, the Wiener Symphoniker will play ballet music from Verdi’s Aida, Don Carlos and Macbeth.

Gabriela Scherer makes Teatro Real debut
On March 29, Gabriela Scherer will make her house debut at the Teatro Real in Madrid. Performing alongside Michael Volle, she will sing excerpts from Wagner’s Der fliegende Holländer and Tannhäuser, as well as Strauss’s Arabella.
